Good News - According to this news story, the strike has been settled peacefully in Guinea. Here is the news story: GUINEA: Trade unions claim strike victory as government promises higher wages

I just received this information from the Guinea list serv about a strike in Conakry. Hopefully, this won't have any impact on Lisa since she is currently away from the capitol city. Check out this Reuter's news story:
